David R. Hubbs, M.D.

Doctor Hubbs received his medical degree in 1978 at LSU School of Medicine after completing his undergraduate training at LSU in Baton Rouge.  He completed his OBGYN residency in 1982 at The University of Tennessee in Memphis.  Dr. Hubbs has been an active staff member of Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center since 1985.  He speaks to numerous community organizations on various women's health issues.  Dr. Hubbs is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.



Kevin M. Richardson, M.D.

Doctor Richardson received his medical degree in 1998 from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans.  In 2002, he completed his residency training in OBGYN at Charity Hospital in New Orleans.  During residency, Dr. Richardson was nominated 1999 Intern  of the Year, awarded 2002 first prize for research in molecular dynamics of preeclampsia, and won the award for Best Grand Rounds Lecture for his presentation on breast cancer genetics.  Dr. Richardson received his undergraduate degrees from Emory University in 1993, where he was a Studstill Scholar, and recipient of the 1992 George Gibbons Award and 1992 Georgia Power award for research in marine biology.  While at Emory, Dr. Richardson earned undergraduate degrees in Biology and Art History and worked for four years at Centers for Disease Control & Prevention.  He currently volunteers at St. Andrew's Mission free health clinic.  Dr. Richardson is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and is an active member in The American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.



Louise F. Gombako-Amos, M.D.

Doctor Gombako-Amos received her medical degree in 2001 from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans.  She completed her OBGYN residency training in 2005 at Charity Hospital in New Orleans.  In 1997, she graduated magna cum laude from Xavier Univeristy, where she was a member of the Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society and Alpha Epsilon Delta International Honor Society.  In addition, she was named a Howard Hughes Biomedical Scholar, inducted into the Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society, and attended the Baylor/Rice Honors Premedical Academy.  In 1996, Dr. Gombako-Amos was awarded an N.I.H. Fellowship at the Parasitoloty Institute in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.  The previous year, she participated in N.I.H sponsored research at the University of Pennsylvania.  Dr. Gombako-Amos is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and serves in a number of community leadership roles.  She regularly conducts health workshops for young women throughout Southwest Mississippi and volunteers at St. Andrew's Mission free health clinic.  In addition, Dr. Gombako-Amos is a choir member with Tyrone Foster and the Arc Singers and holds a black belt in Taekwondo.  Dr. Gombako-Amos is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.


Lanasha C. Tanner, M.D.

Doctor Tanner completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at LSU New Orleans in 2008, serving as Educational Chief Resident during her senior year.  She earned her medical degree in 2004 from Meharry Medical College and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society during her third year.  Her academic excellence earned her several awards and scholarships, including the 2002 George C. and Sarah Hale Endowment Award, the 2000 United Fruit and Vegetable Union Workers Scholarship Award, and the 2000 Robert E. Dawson Student Leadership Award.  Dr. Tanner received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia.  Throughout her medical & premedical career, Dr. Tanner has participated in a number of community outreach programs, including as a Track IVY Mentor and as a volunteer at the Safe Haven Family Shelter, the Nashville Union Rescue Mission, and at the Lafayette Community Health Center.  She lives with her husband Titus in McComb, where she enjoys cooking and spending time with family and friends.  Dr. Tanner is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
